Come join Michael Wardle as we explore how we can increase the resilience and productivity of our gardens by applying what we learn from nature.
Garden fermenting is the process of cultivating local Microorganisms through simple, natural, and affordable methods. Garden fermenting, both aerobic and anaerobic, allows gardeners to create all organic and high-grade living fertilizers for our gardens.
In this discussion, we will look at where these ideas have come from and how they can be applied. This will include how to make some of the ferments and how to apply them. This class talk is designed to enable anyone to become a microbial gardener. Michael has been applying these ferments in his gardens for over 14 years and talks from experience on not only how we can create these ferments, but how we can use them for maximum effect.
Bruce Ham will be talking to us all about 3 Peppers. How they grow and how we can use them.
Deb Aitcheson is making us all herby damper. It's in our cookbook. Deb use to make this at least twice a week when her boys were little and come home from school hungry. It was always a good filler as you know what boys are like in the afternoon.

Tallis will focus on 5 herbs used in folklore love spells. We are making up a small pack of goodies for you to take home.
