DownloadThe Queensland Herb Society (QHS) meets on the first Tuesday of every month (except January) at 7.30pm at the Albion Peace Centre, 102 McDonald Road Windsor.
Sign in at the entrance of the hall. Fees are $2 for Members and $3 for Visitors.
Come earlier to meet our members and then browse our cuttings table to take home something new to grow in your garden.
Our meetings are relaxed and informal, are generally 60-90 minutes in duration and followed by refreshments. Come along and be part of a friendly, social and informative evening. Each month we have either a guest speaker or workshop, herb of the month and a general discussion.
Following this is a shared supper or herbal teas and herby food brought each month by our members. You are welcome to join us as a visitor.
Address: Albion Peace Centre, 102 McDonald Rd, Windsor, Brisbane 4030.
Visitors and Guests Welcome.
Entry Fee: Members $2 and Guests $3
So come along, bring a friend and see what the Queensland Herb Society is all about – we’re a friendly bunch!
When you become a member of the Queensland Herb Society you receive many extra benefits, such as: only $2 entry fee to meetings, greatly reduced or free bus trips, free access to the QHS library and delivery of our quarterly “Sage” newsletter, plus you get to be part of a like minded group of pretty amazing people!
Don’t forget, if you pay electronically, to use “MEM + your surname” as the payment reference, then email us with your proof of payment and a scan or photo of your completed form so we have all the up to date details. And of course you can still pay by cheque via the post or, all going well, we can accept cash payments at our February meeting.
This 1/2 year subscription will then bring us back in line with our usual renewal in July.
Download the form above and full payment instructions and get it back to us to start, or continue, receiving your Sage newsletter… and of course to meet in person.
We have guest speakers at our general meetings and at Herb Awareness each year. They all have a wealth of herbal knowledge and love sharing that with our members and visitors.
Every three months our publication Sage is printed and sent out to all our members. It is full of herby stories, herb of the month and guest speakers content. We have recipes that have been submitted by our members and snippets that might just help you with something going wrong in the garden or inspiration to create or try something new..
